It all starts at the source, the water. Natuzzi Ice manufacturers its packaged ice with one of the finest water sources in the world. Derived from the Catskills in upstate New York, not only is it great for making bagels and pizza it serves pretty well for manufacturing crystal clear packaged ice products.
What makes New York City tap water taste so good? Thanks in part to the geology of the Catskill Mountains, which have very little limestone rock, New York City’s water contains low levels of bitter-tasting calcium. As a result, providing you with clean fresh tasting ice!
The water is then processed in our Vogt Tube Ice making machines, churning out over 300,000 lbs. pounds of ice daily. The ice is cut into cubes by cutters inside the machine and is then formed, filled and sealed into packaged ice. The product is produced in a variety of sizes including but not limited to buckets, bags, and bundles to meet the varying needs of our clients.
